INDIVIDUAL WORK
SITE LOCATION: GREENLAND

This residential project for 9 families is located in Greenland. The extreme cold weather with frozen earth and social phenomenon of loneliness are the major challenges for this design.
It is a design of 9 individual dwellings aggregated together on a waterfront. Due to the close relationship among the 9 families, creating a compact community with a glass envelop will reduce heat loss greatly. The idea of the dwelling is to create a warm aggregate community with shared space.
